I once got my R knee crushed by a forklift and there was quite a bit of fluid in the muscle just above my knee, frontside.

A month or three after the accident I had the knee drained by a MD. But now, two years later there still is some residual fluid there. Can it be totally removed? It's (like) theres a little sac of water above my kneecap and now my leg muscles are shaping because of the running it's becomming more obvious.

I know, visit MD, but was there and got it drained. Should it be drained again or has this no use?

I'm afraid this one can't be answered online. It's not even clear what injured structure was drained, which may have reaccumulated fluid once again. Could be a bursa, could be the synovial space inside the knee, could be a hematoma from your trauma. Sorry, but this one can only be sorted out by your doc. Ask about how to deal with this episode and then ask about what to expect for the future.

Best of luck.

thank you Josh. I guess there's not much more options than to revisit my MD.
