Seems like it would be a great tool used in conjunction with a heart rate monitor. I'd be interested in what people paid, where they got them and their experiences with the devices. I've heard that the instructions are a little complicated. I've also heard that there's a competing gadget by Fitsense I saw at fitsense.com that may be cheaper to buy.

Any comments?

I have the FitSense model. It seems to be working well for me. I don't have the heart monitor part yet (you can add it when you want). I bought it direct, my local dealer was out of stock and I was headed out on a trip, so I did not want to wait.

The instructions are not too bad, also not so great either. It is not an intuitive as the standard Ironman watches (without heart rate etc.) but it is not as bad as the Polar watch I have. It is not hard to get use to nor remember. I keep loosing the stored data with the Polar due to its poor interface design. Which is why I am considering getting the heart monitor for the FitSense.
